Who do you trust?!

In an age of “FAKE NEWS,” who can we trust? Can we trust our favorite politician? Can we trust the government? Can families trust one another? We live in an age where anyone can post what they believe on the internet, with no facts to back it up. A recent survey on phys.org found that 86 percent of internet users admitted to being duped by “FAKE NEWS.” Billions of people are exposed to that “FAKE NEWS” before someone can check the validity of the news that’s quickly spreading around the world. Nations don’t trust other nations, citizens don’t trust their leaders’ agendas, customers don’t trust businesses, etc. Who should we trust?!
God told us something we should never forget, “For I am the Lord and I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob” (Micah 3:6). Why not put our trust in God and not in men? The Bible tells us over and over again, God’s not like men He always keeps His word. “God is not a man, that He should lie…” (Numbers 23:19). God has our best interest in mind and sent His only begotten son to die so that we may have a chance to rule with Him in His kingdom. We have to understand this is the current nature of men, due to SIN! Citizens don’t trust their government, husbands and wives don’t trust each other, politicians go back on their word, ministers preying upon their congregations to get wealthy, and so on.
We have to remember Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Put your trust in God and understand that because man chose SIN over God, the mistrust we have for our institutions, governments, politicians, businesses, etc., will only grow more as we get closer to the day that God brings His new kingdom to this earth. We need to put the word of God in our heart and daily actions, so that we will not be fooled by the “FAKE NEWS” that’s wreaking havoc and confusion on our society.
Put your trust in God and pray that He gives you the wisdom to not be fooled by the “FAKE NEWS” that’s running rampant throughout this world.
