Your Truth?!

Haa! Who would have ever imagined this is where the truth would be in the year 2023?! We no longer can, or should I say, refuse to say what the truth is. The facts used to matter if we disagreed. We would say let me show you the scientific or biblical facts. Not today! Our society says the truth is subjective; it is whatever my truth, your truth, their truth, or anybody else's truth is. Everyone has their own "truth" based on their personal feelings/experiences. According to a 2014 ABC News article, society says there are over forty-eight (48) different genders, despite science showing there are only two (2) genders due to the XX and XY chromosomes (cf., Genesis 1:27; 5:1-2; Mark 10:6-9). How did we get here?
We got here by taking God out of every aspect of our lives. God has given us over to reprobate minds. We cannot discern what is right or wrong; it is now up to each individual when you toss out the good book (Romans 1:28-29). According to Pew research conducted in May of 2023, 65 percent of Americans believe the Bible is just a book of mythological stories, yet 75 percent of Americans profess to be Christians. How can 75 percent of Americans make this claim if the book that Christianity relies on is just a book of myths and fabrications?! (2 Timothy 3:16). It just does not add up when you lay out all of these new "truths"—marriage is bad, kids are a curse, gender is fluid, open relationships are the key to happiness, and the list goes on. Many people are seeking their own truth to supposedly "free" them, but according to the Bible, it does not lead to true freedom. Instead, it causes more bondage, depression, anxiety, health problems, and other issues. We all know this saying, "The truth will set you free" (John 8:32). This truth that we are mentioning comes from the Bible, and there are numerous scientific facts that back up the Bible. If you desire true freedom, your truth has got to come from the Bible.
We, as professing Christians, must make sure we speak the truth. We cannot be participants in today's deceit (Ephesians 4:15). We must stand our ground for the truth! We must make sure our kids and grandkids are not caught up in the continuous web of lies. Gender is not fluid, and there are wrongs and rights. You cannot be a boy today and wake up a girl tomorrow. Mankind has turned every single individual into a god when they say and believe one individual's "truth" matters more than our Heavenly Father's truth. In today's society, people are saying I can create whatever things I desire to be true. However, we must remember that God's truth is the only truth that matters (Ephesians 4:25; 6:16; Philippians 4:8).
